The Metro Special Police Department (MSPD) offers onsite professional private police, security, and protective services to businesses, property owners, organizations, governments, and event organizers across Washington, DC. We tailor services to each client’s specific needs and follow applicable District of Columbia laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and client policies. 

Private Police Services: Uniformed special police officers provide access control, property protection, patrols, and incident response to help keep authorized client locations safe. Unlike traditional law enforcement that has to leave the site in case they are called to an offsite emergency, MSPD personnel stay onsite.

Commercial and Residential Security: Visible security coverage for offices, residential communities, retail properties, construction sites, and other facilities.

Mobile Police Patrols: Scheduled or customized vehicle and foot patrols, security checks, and activity reports for designated properties. We utilize highly visible marked police vehicles.

Alarm and Incident Response: Prompt response to reported security concerns, alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and other incidents covered by the client’s service agreement.

Welfare and Safety Checks: Scheduled checks of properties, facilities, and designated areas, documented for the client.

Security Assessments and Planning: Practical guidance to identify vulnerabilities, strengthen procedures, and plan effective security coverage.

Reports and Documentation: Clear records of patrols, incidents, access activity, and other services provided.
