The mission of the Metro Special Police Department's Training Academy (MSPDTA) is to provide efficient, effective, and quality training without sacrificing officer safety. By utilizing the diverse teaching disciplines of our certified instructors, we are able to provide training that complies with the applicable training laws of the District of Columbia and that exceeds industry training standards.
