During your use of this Metro Special Police Department's (MSPD) Website, you may provide information about yourself. MSPD works hard to ensure that it has taken steps to prevent the unlawful or unauthorized use of your information, and, further, to prevent any accidental destruction of loss of such information. This is our Privacy Policy and it explains how MSPD collects, utilizes, and protects information collected on the MSPD Website. Collection of Information:
MSPD collects information about the visitors to the MSPD Website in two main ways. PII:
We may collect information that identifies you (“PII”) when you interact and voluntarily provide such information. The types of PII collected on the Website may include: Your name; contact information (e.g., address, phone number, and e-mail address); and other information you choose to provide. If you use a credit card to pay invoices issued by MSPD you will be directed to a third-party site that processes credit card payments and will have to provide personal financial information to the processor. The use and collection of that information is governed by the processor’s policies. MSPD does not collect or store that information. You should review the processor’s policies and terms of use. MSPD has no responsibility for your use of the processor. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, MSPD does not automatically collect PII about you, and does not collect such information without your consent.
Non-Personal Data:
MSPD uses Non-Personal Data in ways including, but not limited to improve and evaluate the content, the usability, and problems of the Website. We may share your Non-Personal Data with third parties or permit third parties to place cookies, tags, web beacons, and other anonymous identifiers to collect additional Non-Personal Data when you browse the Website. We or third parties may use the collected Non-Personal Data to serve advertisements and targeted advertisements to you before, during, and after your visit to the Website.
Use of Information:
MSPD will not use or disclose to any third parties the information it collects from this Website, except as provided by this Privacy Policy. MSPD may use your PII in a variety of ways including, but not limited to: Personalizing and improving the usability of the Website; Answering your emails or online requests; Fulfilling and/or delivering products and services requested by you; Delivering and processing surveys and newsletters and keeping you informed about events. MSPD will not share your PII with third parties except where you have given your express consent; or MSPD, in good-faith judgment, determines it needs to provide your information to a third party to deliver services you requested; or the disclosure is required by law or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of personnel of MSPD, or members of the public. You may choose to provide personal financial information to a third-party card processor to pay MSPD’s invoices through this Website. MSPD is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of this Website.
Opting Out:

Do Not Track:
Except as described herein, MSPD does not track information about visitors to the Website or share PII about visitors with third parties. Third parties who receive Non-Personal Data from MSPD, however, are not required to honor browser “Do Not Track” requests, and MSPD does not control what those third parties may do with the data.
Information Transmitted Is Not Secure:
Any information sent to MSPD by e-mail or through the Website is not secure and is done so on a non-confidential basis only. If you choose to send information to MSPD over the Internet, including by e-mail or contact form, you do so at your own risk.
